    Hi! I purchased a domain at Bluehost: threadsdfw.com and was hoping to transfer my threadsonline.wordpress.com there. I have been having a lot of trouble, exporting and importing is not working. I recently bought the mapping option and have now been set with the issue of switching the nameservers, which won’t work either. I would love some help!

    Hi there, in order to maintain your site, threadsonline.wordpress.com, here at WordPress.com, but map it to your domain name at BlueHost, you can follow these steps:

    1. Change your domain’s name servers at BlueHost. If you have trouble doing this on your own, you can contact them and let them know your DNS settings should be adjusted to:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    Please note it can take up to 72-hours for changes to your name servers to take effect.

    2. Once that is done, return to your WordPress.com Dashboard. Click Store → My Domains. Choose threadsdfw.com/ and then click Update Primary Domain.
