Blog migration did not take all images

    I recently created the10krunner.wordpress.com (might be private) as a backup to this site.

    I backed up to xml and re-imported and the import was said to be successful. I am using the columnist theme

    some links to external images eg ones on flickr don’t seem to have been transferred. not too bothered about that

    BUT

    for each post the main image is not set as the columnist HERO image (as they call it). Consequently the home page shows blank images for all the posts below it when I would have expected an image per post by default.

    on looking at the columnists theme homepage it says: The hero image is 625 pixels wide and 390 pixels high. You can define which image you would like to use by entering the URL in the custom field titled: ‘Large Image (625×390)’.

    I can’t field this field either….so it is this filed which is not set correctly by the update
