Blog migration within WordPress

  thomaspainethexx & thomaspainethexxi – I did not understand the negative outcomes in separating my blogs. I there an easy way to migrate the existing blogs from -thexxi to thexx?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There is way to do as you are suggesting.

  Just export the posts from the blog you no longer wish to update by following this process: http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/

  Then import the content into the blog you want to continue to use: http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

  Once you are done, you’ll want to add a post to the old blog letting visitors know you’ve moved to the new site. You may also want to add a text widget to your sidebar on the old site with the same message so when visitors end up on the old site, they know they should click over to the new one. (It looks like your old site doesn’t currently have a sidebar, but the 2011 theme should allow you to add it back)

  Alternatively, you could use the site re-direct upgrade to automatically redirect visitors from the old site to the new site.
