Blog migration/upgrade to .com vs delete wordpress "website"

    Hi there!

    I am in a “funny” situation here.

    A friend offered to help me and he registered my domain as taalsmakelijk.com. For this he used his own server, his own personal details and then he created a website by using wordpress software he has installed on his computer. I gave him the company details for the domain registration, but the payment went through him, hopefully not automatic payment.

    Little trouble is that I, before that, I had already started my blog http://taalsmakelijk.wordpress.com.
    My friend exported some of my data from the blog, but all my pics, connections to FB, and other feature would have to be done from scratch on the “new website”.

    I want to delete that website he created once and for all, ’cause it brought me only trouble and confusion.
    How can I do it? I tried but could not find the correct option.
    Of course then I will still have to sort out the domain de-registration, but that’s another story.

    Moreover, if I ever want to transform/upgrade my blog url into .com only, directly with wordpress, does the fee I’ll then pay make the magic happen or would I also have to migrate and adjust all bits and pieces?

    I hope to have been able to explain the messy situation and that someone can help me out!

    I do have a blog hosted by wordpress.com, but my problem is not directly with it, it is kind of messy. Anyway the blog is http://taalsmakelijk.wordpress.com
