Blog moving sites?

    Hello, I changed my blog name a while ago, domain and everything, and it’s been fine. However, today, it got changed back to my old name, and I don’t know what’s happening. Now I have two domains that are exactly the same, and I don’t know how to move my content to the one I want. It keeps telling me the domain I want to move it to is taken (which it is, by me!). I do not know what happened, or why it is suddenly doing this. All my posts should be on sassandsucculents.wordpress.com, and it says that is where they are being posted. However, when you type in that address, a blank blog shows. When you type in powerofv.wordpress.com, my posts are shown, layout and all. Please help me fix this, I should only have one blog, sassandsucculents.wordpress.com with all my posts.

    I don’t see sassandsucculents.wordpress.com under your account any longer, but I can retrieve it for you if you still want the site.

    Hello

    I built a new, wordpress site for a client in a new folder adjacent to the old (html) site. (Old site http://www.lsengineer.com. New site http://www.lsengineer.com/2.0) and now I want the new site to replace the old one, which is turning out to be more of a challenge that I expected, and the hosting company is not being very helpful.

    My solution was to create another new folder called “original.” and move all the files from the old site there, then move all the files from the 2.0 directory into the root directory.

    When I do that I see the site, but there are some important features missing, and an error message showing the browser is still looking for some folders and files in the 2.0 folder.

    I’m not strong on IT stuff, and am not sure how to proceed. Can anyone tell me the correct way to do this?

    The sites you listed are self-hosted WordPress.org sites and these forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites.
