Blog name

I want to start a blog but cannot think of a name. My last name starts with o, I am married, have a 10 month old, plan weddings, we are big soccer and football fans, I like to read, scrapbook and cook. I want something clever, any good ideas?

“O-saka-mom”? (bad, I know)
“News from home plate”? (that’s neither football or soccer, I know)
(And we’d never be so lucky that your first name starts with “B” and has 2 or more syllables, so that you could use “Bend It Like Betsy”….)
“Offsides” is probably already taken.
“Gnome Away From Home” is just plain silly
If the “odil” in “dodil1” is something you’d like to use, then maybe “Odil’s Idylls” (or Odil’s Idle Idylls”?)
Now, just take everything you hate about all the above suggestions and figure out what the opposites ideas would be, and you should have some good ideas to start from. :)

I like Dodi’s Adobe because it’s kind of alliterative and alludes to her place of abode.

It’s a good name. I’m just thinking about how the inability to take the plunge in this case might carry forward. I’ve seen it so many times. Okay, I’m jaded and could quite possibly be wrong.

@ jennifer: I wish I could get the Press This to work. I am ALL OVER the Post to Facebook button, but Press This has never worked for me. Perhaps on a new system…

And then you could have categories like:
Pick(le) of the Day – for the best (or worst) recent event
Kosher Dils – for those “only in this family would that ever happen” things
Sweet Relish – for those “Awww….” moments
Cucumber Chips – for those little snippety bits of news
Gherkins – for wierd little things
Vinegar & Brine – for any rants and/or tirades(I think I’d better stop now, before I get carried away or anything…. :)

I like Press This button a lot, it is a breeze to post.
Also, it is not easy to come up with a blog name, so I advise you think and think and think. I eventually came up with my blog name after so many tries and I think I’m keeping this name. It represents what I intend to do with the blog.

Raincoaster, what browser are you using? I have 4 different press this buttons on my Chrome toolbar and I love it. I also used them on my Firefox toolbar.
