  Hi there,

  WordPress.com offers 3 upgrade plans (Personal, Premium and Business) which has custom domain name feature. If your only requirement is to have custom domain name, that is, to get rid of wordpress.com from your site address then I would recommend you to purchase Personal plan.
  It is the cheapest plan that offers custom domain name feature.
