  hello, if I buy personal plan, my domain name will usefulengineering.com ; without wordpress.com?

  Yes, if that domain name is available and you secure it, then yes… your web site address will no longer have wordpress.com in it.

  Any plan (including Personal) that offers a Custom Domain Name will allow you to choose an unused domain, like the one you suggested:

  p.s. In addition to the custom domain name for your web site address, upgrading to Personal will also remove the WordPress.com Ads.
