  I switched from thepricklypunk.wordpress.com to using Wix for The Prickly Punk (my blog). And now that I’m switching back to wordpress, I can no longer use thepricklypunk.wordpress.com. I want this site address back. In the future I will purchase a domain, but for now I need thepricklypunk.wordpress.com back.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  thepricklypunk.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this site.

  How long ago did you delete that site? If it was less than 30 days ago then staff can recover it. If the site was deleted more than 30 days ago then it is gone for good and you’ll need to choose a different address. If you’re going to purchase a domain in future then it won’t matter too much what address you choose for your WordPress.com site. You may then be able to upgrade to a paid plan and get a custom domain with your chosen address and a different suffix to WordPress.com.
