  It looks as if WordPress has assigned me two blogs. One is https://docmartinfansite.wordpress.com and the old one is https://karengilleland.wordpress.com
  Why did they do this?

  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It appears that both of your blogs are active.
  You must have created both of these.

  Could you please explain what you are trying to accomplish?

  Hello, I wasn’t trying to create a second blog. I was trying to add a post to my original blog. It wouldn’t open automatically as in the past and would not accept my password. I finally got in using Apple PW. I thought I was in right place and added the post and published it.

  How can I get back to my original blog and post there?

  Can you clarify a little more what you are trying to set up? I see that you have 3 sites listed under your @docmartinstarringmartinclunesblog account when I look here: https://wordpress.com/sites/

  Which site did you post on by mistake?
  Which site are you trying to post on instead?
  What is the title of your post?
  Are you trying to delete one of those sites to simplify your view?

  I have had only one site for years: karengilleland.wordpress.com

  I don’t know how the others were created. The “Doc Martin” with Martin Clunes Fan was somehow created by error. It was created when my original site would not allow me to post and asked for a PW. The one I have used always did not work. I used the option to login via my Apple PW. When I did that, apparently it created a second blog. I have no idea how the third blog was created.

  I would very much like to use my original site, but I don’t know how to get into it because the PW must take me to the second one created. Help!

  I’m not sure how you came to create extra sites on your account, but they can be deleted (if you do not need them anymore) by following the steps here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  I would very much like to use my original site, but I don’t know how to get into it because the PW must take me to the second one created. Help!

  Again, I’m not sure I understand. You should have access to this site. Do you see it listed when you go here? https://wordpress.com/sites/
