Blog name

  I want to register a blog but the name is taken. But when i search for the name of the blog online i get a message that the author have deleted the site. Can i have the name then?

  Lets say; Bokhyllan.wordpress.com thats name i want but i cant use it. Still i cant find any site by that name.

  The answer is no. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  However, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
