blog name

  I want to clear my account of both blogs so I can start again. I have tried changing the name of my blog, it saves in the settings but the old name still appears, please help!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You deleted the placeholder post and as soon as you publish a post not a page and the error message will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  By default the front page of your blog displays all posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of the blog appeared because the Admin of the blog deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/

  You must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account in order to change the blog’s URL. Then you can use this guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  That option will permanently disable the address and you will not be able to reuse it. Only select this option if you are sure you will not use the address again. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  Note you can simply change the blog visibility to private and use it as a test blog or backup blog. See option 3 here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ to change your blog visibility setting to private.

  Hi thank you for all your help!

  I have two blogs on my account one called Itchy Feet Travel Photography and the other samanthajenkinsphotography, I changed the Itchy Feet one to Samantha Jenkins Photography but when i look in the top right corner in the drop down it still comes up with the old names? I would like to delete the samanthajenkinsphotography blog and continue with my first one. Is this possible?

  The My Blogs title dropdown will change given time. It can take quite awhile but only you can see it.
