blog name already taken but blog not in use

  how to contact wordpress to ask them to delete a blog that is not in use and seems to have been created by them as an example?
  My blog is ready to go live but just realised someone else was using the same name as me….see below the ghost blog

  WordPress.COM will not delete a blog just because you tell them to – and once a blog is deleted that name is gone forever. if you want http://myhomemadekitchen.wordpress.com/ you will need to contact that blogger on your own and convince them to give the name to you.

  WordPress.COM will not contact a blogger for you (privacy issues) and there is no requirement that a blog be used. You can register a custom domain name and map it to a blog here is you want, but that is your only other option other than picking a different domain name.

  Thank you, I asked only because it looks like this name was picked by worldpress themselve to advertise the different theme and type of blog you can have. But I will fin another name, such a shame that this name will never be able to be used ever again!

  It’s a good name. Consider the Custom Domain upgrade. For $18 a year you could have MyHomeMadeKitchen.com or .org or whatever, provided it’s available.
