Blog name and address changing

    I want to change the name and web address of my free wordpress.com blog, but don’t want to lose my followers or any posts, pages setup, etc. Is this possible?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Jim!

    That is certainly possible – you will not lose your followers or any content from your site by simply changing its name.

    You can change your blog address by going to My Blogs, and clicking the Change Blog Address link that appears when you hover over the address you want to change:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/

    Note that you have the option to choose your user name to match the new blog address. If you choose this option, you will not be able to revert back to the original username, and it can affect profile URLs for other services such as Gravatar or IntenseDebate.
