Blog name and user address issue

    Hi, I recently set up my blog gabriellegarbinblog.wordpress.com. I now realize that this is a stupid name so I renamed it “The Write Way.” I can see the posts on “The Write Way” but it is difficult managing this (my primary site now) because I always have to go through the other blog address gabriellegarbinblog.com to get to The Write Way, and I noticed that some changes don’t “stick” in The Write Way. My original post shows up there but it had a blank page when I tweeted it (sorry page not found). I have since retweeted it, but would like to only use the renamed blog. Should I just ditch the gabriellegarbinblog address and will this FIX my problem. I saw all the scary stuff about losing my name and I don’t want to lose my USER NAME because THAT’S MY NAME LOL, so what do I do? There was a box that said my user name would be changed to fit the new website. I don’t want my user name to be “The Write Way” because now I have a great blog name (The Write Way) but a dumb user name. My goal is to only use The Write Way blog and not use gabriellegarbinblog anymore. It would be easier if I could just have The Write Way be my primary site but not lose my user name. Also, if I change my address, will I lose my previous postings??? Or will they stay on The Write Way? HELP! Thanks!     I am sorry but you cannot claim a deleted blog URL. No one can use a deleted blog URL regardless of who registered it. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled here. You can confirm by reading:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

    However, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

    Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
