blog name appearing incorrectly

I’m setting up a group blog as an admin, but have joined it as an author under an existing user name. For a brief time, while we were deciding on a name, the title of the blog was set as “placeholder name.” Currently, we do not have the title set as anything, but are using a header graphic to display the blog’s name. All this is cool.

However, when I am logged in under my existing user name as an author, I see the two blogs I write for– and the new one is still called “placeholder name,” despite this having been changed many times, and now having no title at all. I’d like this to display correctly, but can’t seem to fix it. Can anyone help?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can change your blog title (not the URL) and the tagline at any time here > Settings > General
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/general-settings/

I know that, TT– currently, I have NOTHING typed in that box. I’ve tried typing different things, which are promptly added to the blog itself, but nothing changes how it is displayed to my other user name in the list of “my blogs”… it always is a drop-down list with “placeholder name” as one of them.

to clarify– let’s say that YOU started another blog, and were the admin under a new user name, “TimeLine”. Then you added “TimeThief” as an author. And when you logged into your “TimeThief” user name and wanted to see what your blogs were, the list said “placeholder name”. Dig?
