blog name change

I have changed my blog name.. that worked great.. imported pages from another blog.. that worked great. went through all the steps to rename everything.. that went great. the only problem is. when I copy the blog link to post on facebook,the link attachment still comes up with Madebymau’s blog and not True North Knitting. How long do I have to wait for that to be changed? My main link is fine http://truenorthknitting.wordpress.com and comes up fine when you insert the link url or give the link through an email or messenger. I would really like to post this on facebook to inform my customers of the name change but it just looks messy and confusing when I do.

Facebook has some rather annoying caching, and this is one of the symptoms.
Unfortunately, there’s nothing that we can do on this end.
I have had some luck asking another friend to share a post of mine. For some reason, that kicked it back in gear.

Yes, that’s the idea. Having someone other than you share a post from your blog seems to kick Facebook’s cache back in gear. I can’t even begin to grasp why that works, except the fact that it does seem to work most of the time.
