Blog name change error

  I have tried to change my blog address and it’s saying the site already exists. When I typed this site into my address bar it says: ‘bakeyourselfhappy.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.’

  I would therefore like to change my site from ‘bakingndoodling’ to ‘bakeyourselfhappy’ as it does seem that is not in fact being used by anyone anymore.

  The authors have deleted this site.

  You cannot recover or register any deleted blog URL. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
