Blog Name Change Not Accepted

  I can’t get my blog’s name change accepted, but no message is provided to explain why. I can’t tell if the new name duplicates another blog name on WordPress, or what. Is a proposed name rejected if there is even the tiniest overlap with another blog name? What are the rules?

  Are you changing the blog’s displayed name or it’s URL? One is done on the Settings page and one is on the Upgrades page and they are very different.

  I’m just trying to change the displayed name. The default displayed name is my user id.

  Actually, the Settings page won’t save any changes. I just tried to correct the time zone and it wouldn’t let me save that, either.
