Blog Name Taken

    Hi, I’m really considering about making a blog with the name Byter. I’m currently hoping to buy the domain Byter.com so I was hoping to get a blog with the same name. The problem is that it’s been taken. The user hasn’t posted since 2008. I really do wish to begin making the page and have kind of a team to begin with the blog. I know this can’t normally be done, but I see it unfair to see the good name unused. Would it be possible to get the byter.wordpress.com link for me to use? It would mean a lot to me.

    Try contacting the blog owner – you are on your own – WordPress.COM will not help – Privacy reasons

    PS – this is ask several times a week, and the answer is always the same

    If you can’t contact the blog owner you will need to pick a different name
