Blog name transfer?

    Good morning! So I’ve been using my socal standard blog here on WordPress for a while but I recently changed my business name and URL to http://www.altstdo.co

    I currently use Showit to display my blog but I wanted to know if I needed to reconnect something or transfer something over to make sure that my SoCal blogs show under the altstd.co/blogs URL

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    I’m not fully sure I understood your question. Do are wanting to migrate your current site from Showit to WordPress.com? If yes you can do that by exporting your Showit content following the steps they recommend here: https://learn.showit.co/en/articles/4785318-export-wordpress

    You would then be able to import that content to your site here: https://wordpress.com/import/thesocalstandard.wordpress.com

    Please note that if you plan to use your new domain with Showit there is not a way to have your WordPress.com site use the same URL. Due to the way domains work, altstd.co can be used for only one service at a time, but not for two services simultaneously.
