blog name unavailable

  Hello,

  I want to start my own blog but wordpress tells me the blog name I’ve chosen has already been taken. Yet, when I type the full adress in my browser, it says ‘ www………wordpress.com is no longer available, the authors have deleted this site’. So I don’t understand why in that case, I can’t use this name since the blog was deleted.
  Please let me know if there is anything I can do!

  Hello Julia,
  Unfortunately, that blog can’t be reused. It’s the policy of WordPress.com not to allow blog names to be recycled: https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You might try creating a new blog using a variation of the original name.
