  Hi:

  How can I make the “blog” option of menu to not be able to be clicked?

  I just want the drop down menu options to be able to be picked.

  Also, how can I change child menu background color to something else then black?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  In the custom menu, remove the menu item you now have for “Blog” and instead use a Custom Menu item, and leave the URL field blank and save.

  Hi:

  I did a menu item and its still linking. I don’t see where a url field is.

  Sorry, I see that I let out some details. What you want to create in your menu for the non-linked menu item is a Custom Menu Link and leave the URL field blank. See the last question in the FAQ here.
