Add topic to favorites
My blog is not appearing online
I have set up the blog and clicked Publish or Update but when I go to the site I get the message “This site is under development”

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

Looks like the domain http://www.jerrygrogan.com. is not having domain mapping to a WordPress blog. Have you mapped the domain? If you are trying to map the domain you may want to follow the instructions step by step from here.

You are getting the site is under development message since the Name servers are pointing to ipage servers. You will have to login at the domain registrar and change that to `NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM`

After a few hours you should be good to go( Please do note that some times the name server changes can take up to 24 hours for propagation across the internet).

@simplysaru – their site is a WordPress.ORG install – http://www.jerrygrogan.com/wordpress/

They have some files and the configuration of the site messed up – THEY DON’T NEED Domain Mapping

All the above instructions I mentioned will only work if you have a WordPress.com blog (e.g.:- yourname.wordpress.com). If you don’t have one but you are using WordPress then you are in the wrong forums as @auxclass mentioned.

Hi Simplysaru and thanks for your suggestion. I attempted doing as you said but it didn’t seem to change anything – I left it a couple of hours but still nothing.
I did manage to Livechat with the Domain People who fixed things very easily – I don’t know whether this was made easier by the steps you’d given me or not but many thanks nonetheless.

You need to be at WordPress.ORG for support in future. You’re using a different version of the software than we are.
