Blog not connecting to my url

  I deleted several files on my server pertaining to my website, http://www.deerfieldwebdesigner.com, none of which were in the /blog/ folder.

  I also installed SEO by Yoast and all of a sudden, my wordpress site is now disconnected from my url. It throws up an index list of files instead of connecting to the life blog.

  I have tried the following to resolve it:
  Uninstalled SEO by Yoast – didn’t resolve it.
  I activated another theme – didn’t resolve it.
  I checked everything on my server and redirect and everything appears okay.
  I check the front page setup in the admin section of WP – everything seems okay.
  I cleared my browsing history – didn’t resolve anything.

  Does anyone know why http://www.deerfieldwebdesigner.com/blog/ is only bringing up a list of files instead of the home page of my blog?

  The site you linked to is a self-hosted WordPress installation. You’ll have better luck over on the WordPress.org support forums. When I went to the blog everything seemed to be in working condition; I could tell you are using child theme ( good ) and have began styling/altering.

  Thank you for taking the time to post a response. I was all day back and forth trying to figure out what happened and when I uninstalled SEO for Yoast, the problem disappeared. I think I was suffering from “bad download syndrone”.

  I since that time activated another SEO plugin and all is well. Thank you for responding.
