Blog Not Deleted

  Hi All,

  I deleted my blog an hour ago, but the URL still works. Can someone please help me with this?

  I went to ‘Tools’ -> ‘Delete Site’. It asked me why I wanted to delete my site, so I selected ‘I do not need this anymore’. I went through the necessary steps to permanently delete the site under my account.

  I got the confirmation e-mail, and clicked the confirmation click to remove all posts, pages, comments, and data, along with the site address.

  When I logged into my backend, the site no longer exist. However, when I type in the URL in my navigation bar, the site is still live and public.

  I even tried logging in from different devices so the problem is that it’s not stored in my cache.

  The content is of sensitive and personal nature, so it’s crucial that it’s private or deleted.

  Is there any way I can make sure the content is fully deleted?

  Did you clear your browser cache and cookies after visiting the URL?
  If you did not then you are viewing a cached copy. So do that now please:

  Thank you for your help!

  I did clear my browser cache and cookies after visiting the URL, but the URL was still live and active.

  I cannot provide any proof of ownership required, for I have none but I do have an email from WordPress confirming my site deletion.

  Please advise.

  Then you have reached a dead end. Staff cannot and will not simply hand over access to any blog anyone who alleges they ought to have it, but cannot provide proof of ownership.
