My blog says the post is live but I can’t see it on any of my browsers: Safari or Chrome. Plus my stats say 5 looks since midnight last night, with zero views since I posted this post. Is there something wrong on the wordpress end? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=fleamarketfunk.com
Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMFor more information, please visit the help documentation provided by the registrar and our support page:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
Let me know if you have any questions!

I’ve had this site and the domain forwarding for more than 5 years , any reason why this is happening now?
-
I’ve spoken to my host, aplus and they can’t get into the back end of my website. I can not get into this website, through this IP address: 72.33.2.58 (my aplus name server has for an ip address). Is there another ip address i can set my website to point to?
-
Hi there,
Please contact your registrar as they would have access to your DNS Settings. You can find your registrar here:
http://who.wildwestdomains.com/WhoIs.aspx?prog_id=wildwestdomains&domain=fleamarketfunk.com
It looks like your registrar is Hostopia. If you cannot change the nameservers, try these IP addresses:
72.233.69.14
69.174.248.148
207.198.112.47Cheers!

I’ve updated the ip address and it is still not resolved. My host is telling me it’s on your end and the ip addresses are not functioning properly. Please advise.
-
Hi there,
Have you talked to your registrar – Hostopia? They are the ones who would make this change for you. It normally takes up to an hour for it to propagate, and sometimes it can take up to 72 hours.
Also, have you tried updating the nameservers? Please let me know if it’s still not working in a few days.
Thank you for your patience.

My domain is registered with A Plus and has been for 7 years. There is no Hostopia. I am not updating the name server b/c my host said the problem is on your end. Please advise.

Am working on that, can you give me any idea what is going on? I can’t afford to be down for days. Thank You.
-
Those IP Addresses were working for another user yesterday, so I believe it should work. Unfortunately, it can take time to propagate, so if it’s still down in a day or two, please let me know and I’ll see what’s going on!
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi there,
It looks like you set your A records to:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMThe A-records should point to an IP address, and instead, you should remove all nameservers for your domain and specify the WordPress.com nameservers below to map your domain name to a WordPress.com blog.
Cheers!

I have not changed my A-records at all, and have only changed the the IP addresses you gave me three separate times as per your advice. I’ve told you in the above messages that the original IP address of 72.33.2.58 just stopped working. You gave me these three: 72.233.69.14 69.174.248.148 207.198.112.47 which didn’t work. I’m going on 5 days with my site down and I need to speak to someone on the phone because this isn’t working. How do I contact someone to speak to?
-
Hi there,
We don’t currently offer phone support, but I’m happy to help you with this here.
It looks like your domain fleamarketfunk.com used to be using the WordPress.com name servers (which would point your domain to WordPress.com). However, right now your name servers are listed as these:
- ns1.aplus.net
- ns2.aplus.net
Those name servers point your domain back to A Plus. Your domain’s name servers are controlled entirely by your domain registrar, so if you have any questions or concerns about why they were changed you will need to contact them about that.
To point your domain back to WordPress.com, you can update your name servers to the following:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
This change is done directly with your domain registrar, in your domain’s DNS settings.
The best way to map a domain to WordPress.com is with those name servers listed above. However, if your registrar requires that you create A records (instead of changing the name servers), please note that our IPs change over time. Because of this, your domain might stop working at some point in the future. If that happens, please get in touch with us to find out the most current IPs and then update your A records accordingly.
If you still want to go ahead and map your domain using A records, please be sure to create at least two, pointing to two different IPs from the list below:
- 192.0.81.250
- 66.155.11.238
- 76.74.254.123
- 192.0.80.250
- 76.74.254.120
- 66.155.9.238
Please let me know if I can provide any further help with this. :)

rachelmcr:
Thank you very much. I just put in two of the new IP addresses and see if that works. I’m hoping that this is just the case of an IP address changing over time. I’ve never had this problem before. Thank you for your help, I will be in touch for sure.
