Blog Not Loading on Phones

    Hi! I have personally experienced and have had others tell me that my blog (dumbpopculturelists.wordpress.com) is not loading on their phones. I have an Iphone 8. I get the following message when I try to open the site on my phone- ‘aw snap- something when wrong while displaying your webpage.’ It is working fine on my computer. Any suggestions to fix it? Thank you so much!

    Hello,

    I’m not sure why you are having issues loading the site. I tried it using an emulator on my computer across multiple models and also on my own personal iPhone (6) and Android Devices and it loaded up fine.

    The only thing I can suggest is to make sure you have a good data connection and perhaps clear your mobile browser cache. This might help with this issue. Speaking of which, could you let us know what browser you are using on your iPhone (Safari, or another one)? If you are using Safari, you can use the instructions listed at the link below to clear the browser cache on your iPhone 8.

    If this doesn’t work for you I’ll tag staff into the thread and see what they can suggest.

    Also, I have no problems visiting other sites on WordPress.com.

    What iOS version are you on? Also, has visiting your site ever worked for you on Chrome? Let us know and we’ll look further into this for you.

    Thank you for your response! I have an Iphone8. Software version 13.6. Let me know any other info you need!

    The blog used to load for me through Chrome on my phone but hasn’t for the last 2 weeks, or since my last two posts. It has always worked for me using Chrome on my laptop.

    Hm, I see this as well.

    You mentioned it was with the most recent posts. Would you mind isolating which one by setting each one individually to Draft until the site works on your phone? https://wordpress.com/support/post-and-page-visibility/
