Blog not posting to facebook?

  My posts don’t seem to be showing up on my facebook page, even though they are configured to do so.

  1. Try flushing your FB cache but disconnect from FB first http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/
  2. Try the full reconnect procedure again detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step.

  I’m having same problem. Have followed publicize set up steps over and over, carefully disconnecting from facebook & removing WP app before starting over. Each time, everything looks good, but posts do not appear.

  I can use the Facebook share button in WP to manually post, but would like to automate.

  The part about “flushing FB cache” is greek to me, as is the link given to help me flush successfully. Is that my problem?

  I’m so frustrated. Please help.

  As you are having trouble with the other methods this one may suit you better. RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti can be used for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

  Hi krinaker,

  I’m sorry for the inconvenience. In Settings -> Sharing, can you try adding a new Facebook connection under Publicize? It looks like you currently aren’t connected.

  If trying to connect Publicize with Facebook doesn’t work this time around, please let me know so we can take a closer look.

  Thank you, also, Bryan, and please stand by. I’m going to give Publicize another go, because, you know, I’m persistent and determined to master WP. So, I’ll get back here with results either way. Onward.
