blog not published

My site says my blog was published but I can’t see it. If I use the specific link direct to it I can see it and share it but it’s not on the page as usual with my other posts
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi again, thanks for including the address of your post.
It looks like you’ve accidentally published it as a static Page and not as a Post. https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
Compare that Page address with the one from your latest published Post:
lifeatfortalexander.wordpress.com/2018/11/29/christmas-season-arrives/Notice the date missing from the Page address, along with the other Post metadata like author, etc.? New pages are also not Publicized or sent by email or appear in the Reader for your Followers.
If you’ve already shared that page’s address with the world, you can’t really completely delete it otherwise visitors will get a 404-not found if they come in via the link you shared or via a search engine.
You could copy/paste the contents of that Page as a new Post and then publish it and it will go out to your Followers and will appear in your Recent Posts widget as well as being Publicized, if you have that option enabled. Then on the Page, you can remove the content and include a link to the newly published Post.

Ty for your help & reminder to copy & paste. The link to “pages” was most helpful as I’d no clue the difference between blogs & pages. I got the blog to post & everything seems back to normal. Thanks!
