Blog not pulling in posts after upgrade

  I upgraded to the latest version of WordPress. When I went to install, it acted like this was a new blog and asked for login, etc. None of my old posts, comments or categories came over.

  Looking in the database, I notice that there are both a “wp_posts” and “posts” table in the database. The blog seems to display only the posts in “posts” and not in “wp_posts”.

  I tried to import the posts from wp_posts, but they still don’t display. I also updated the guid to match the path shown in the “posts” guid field — the old posts still don’t show.

  Any advice from here?

  You need to be at wordpress.org/support This is wordpress.com and use different software.
