Some of my subscribers are not receiving my posts in their inboxes. What’s up?

Please provide the URL of the blog and the usernames and/or email addresses for Staff here. Th software will redact ie. HIDE all email addresses so only Staff can see them. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hi there,
You can post the usernames if your subscribers are WordPress.com users. You can also post email addresses, and they will be automatically hidden from the forums (so only staff can see them). I can use that information to find out why those subscribers aren’t receiving your posts. :)

Hi there,
I checked your account, and you aren’t subscribed to your own blog. That’s why you didn’t receive a notification for your new blog post.
If some of your subscribers told you that they aren’t receiving notifications, either, I can check their accounts, too. I just need to know the email address or WordPress.com username they used to subscribe to your blog.

Thanks. That’s okay about me.
It seems that this happens sporadically for my followers. Some days they get it, some days not.
The last two to have problems are FictionFan and ladycheetah7.

Hi there,
I checked ladycheetah7, and we sent that user an email update when you published your latest post today. Please have that user check the spam/junk folder in their email account (and the Social and Promotions tabs if they use Gmail) to see if the email ended up there. If it isn’t there, please let me know and I can investigate further.
I checked FictionFan, and there isn’t a WordPress.com user with that username. Can you double check that username (or the email address that person subscribed with)?
Those followers are also welcome to contact us directly and we can troubleshoot the issue with them. :)

It could have just been a glitch, but it’s hard to say without getting more information from those subscribers. If they have any trouble with the email notifications again, please let us know or have those subscribers contact us and we’ll be happy to keep investigating. :)
