Blog not received
-
I sent out a blog yesterday and some people received it, but others didn’t. I didn’t receive it myself so I was curious to see if others also didn’t receive it. Can it be resent? What can I do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there:
I looked up the email delivery logs for the email address tied to your account and I’m showing that the new post notification for the post titled “Winter Haikus” went out to you on the 27th as expected. I also checked a random sampling of your email followers and they all were sent the new post notification as well.
It’s possible that the new post notification email was overlooked. It’s also possible that the new post notification email got incorrectly flagged as spam by your email host. These emails are sent from
(email visible only to moderators and staff)so you can search your email to try and find that new post notification.I hope that helps!

I definitely did not received it and I checked with a few friends. Of the ten people I asked, 3 said they had received it. One person also mentioned not receiving the previous blog.
Is there something else that can be done about this? There’s no point is sending blogs that may or may not be received.
Can the blog be resent? -
Hi again,
After taking a closer look I have had a look at our mail system logs for mail sent to your email address (the one you list here) and from what can see that we are delivering email for you successfully to your provider’s mail servers on 1/27/2021 with the subject:
[New post] Winter Haikus
I do not have any delivery error reports for this email address, which would be expected if it bounced back for any reason. If the emails are not showing up in your mailbox (and you have searched your spam/junk folders using the above subject lines) then there are a couple of possibilities:
1: Your provider is having some sort of mail delivery problems. Please contact them about this.
2: More likely – Your provider is discarding the mail from WordPress.com for some reason. Please contact your provider and tell them that WordPress.com has successful delivery reports for mail which is not making it into your mailbox, and ask them to determine from their mail logs what the reason for the non-delivery is. If they provide you with a response please feel free to pass it back to us in the event that we can do anything to help.
Regarding your current followers that you contacted, if you can provide us with their username, we’re happy to look them up in our email logs as well, and confirm if there were any delivery issues.
However, based on your email address (as well as a few others we spot-checked at random) I can confirm that we sent the new post notification as expected, and did not have any delivery issues on our end. Let us know if you need assistance checking on your other followers, or if you have any further notification issues.

Thank you. It’s very mysterious. These are the people who have told me that they have not received the post.

Thanks for the addresses. I have checked all of them, and all but one received the notification email correctly.
The last address does not have any subscriptions on WordPress.com, but this person seems to be subscribed to your site with a different email, atvideotron.ca– that address did receive the notification about your recent post. Please refer to staff-totoro’s post above for possible causes.
