blog not recognised by WordPress reader

  Hi, I’ve had this blog/site since 2009. I’ve only just learnt about reader and was showing a friend who’s only just signed up to WordPress. When she tried to follow my site, the ‘follow’ button at the top wasn’t showing, nor could she find it by ‘Find Friends’ in the reader page, via Facebook friends.

  Why isn’t my site being recognised by WordPress? I run 3.6.1 with WPFolio.

  Is it to do with mapping and is this a new thing?

  I’m self hosted. Does that mean it can’t be found in reader? How do I get anyone to follow my blog?
