Blog not saving edits

    I had started a new post a couple days ago and saved what I had done. Today, I went back and added to it, spent a fair amount of time on it and then clicked, “Save draft”. When the screen returned, none of my edits had been saved! What the heck!? This is the 2nd time this has happened to me…quite frustrated. When I try to contact support, I see they are CLOSED! Not cool….

    Very cool solution, actually. Scroll down to the bottom of the post and you should see the Revisions. If you don’t, then go to the Screen Options button at the top right of the screen on the Post Edit screen and choose Revisions.

    If the post was saved in any way, it would be in the revisions.

    If you have unreliable Internet like I do much of the time, I’ve found that writing my posts in a text editor (software – free and paid versions easily available) where I can save it and have backups is the best way to outwit web boo boos.

    I write, contemplate, edit, and prepare my post, then copy and paste and do a final edit in WordPress. This allows me to work on multiple articles at once, gathering my thoughts and ensuring I have them all figured out and making sense, and gives me many other shortcuts and time saving techniques for web publishing.

    Just something to consider.
