Blog Not Showing Up In My Followers Reader
-
Hello,
I had wordpress.com blog with domain purchased and mapped in worpress.com.
Recently switched to a self hosted site, and migrated my followers from my wordpress.com site to my jetpack self hosted site, but they cant see my new posts in their readers.
I am a follower myself and cannot read the new post.
Here you can see the feed empty but with the correct number of followers https://wordpress.com/read/blog/feed/36304211.
I’m also having problems with feedly if you visit this link https://feedly.com/i/subscription/feed/http://remorada.wordpress.com/feed/ you only see the old posts, but if you visit this link https://feedly.com/i/subscription/feed/https://remorada.wordpress.com/feed/ (with https, not http) you can see all the posts (but no readers)
how can it be possible? maybe i lost something in subscription configuration?
thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry, it’s not resolved entirely.
Now in the reader it’s only appearing the last post, not the entire list of posts -> https://wordpress.com/read/blog/feed/36304211
Can you help me with that issue?
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
I checked the Reader and I see your two most recent posts there. I don’t see your older posts (the ones you originally published on your WordPress.com blog) — I’m asking our team to look into that, to see if we can make your older posts show up there. I’ll let you know when I have an update about that!

Hi there,
The Reader only shows posts published within the last 60 days, so your older posts won’t appear there anymore. (After your two most recent posts, the next post was published 69 days ago so it’s too old to appear in the Reader.) Your newer posts will all appear there, though. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

Hi Rachel, and thank you for your rapid and kind answer.
It seems to work now, but… not completely.
If I suscribe via the suscribe button on page it works fine, but if I try the “follow” button here -> https://wordpress.com/read/blog/feed/36304211
it follows the older blog feed, supposedly private -> https://wordpress.com/read/blog/id/28588922
I think is because the domain was purchased while in wp.com and has the same name and structure? or maybe it only happens to me since I’m the owner of both accounts? I’m confused!
thank you again and sorry for all the bothering :(

Hi there,
Because your WordPress.com site is private, only you can view the private blog’s feed here:
https://wordpress.com/read/blog/id/28588922
Other users won’t be able to see that feed, and they won’t be able to see the posts on your private site.
I’m checking with our team about that behavior, though, because when someone follows your new site they should only be added as a follower on that site, not your old site. I’ll let you know when I have more information about that. :)

Hi there,
I checked with our team, and you’ll see that happen when you use the follow button here: https://wordpress.com/read/blog/feed/36304211
Our team is aware of that issue, but we don’t have a way to prevent it for now. The best thing to do is to encourage your new readers to subscribe directly on your site and not through that follow button in the Reader.
