Blog not showing up in Tag pages
-
Having not blogged much last year, I’ve been posting again this week but see that my blog isn’t appearing in the Tag pages. I’m tagging my posts as I always have and the Tag pages (especially art and politics, both tags for today’s post) have previously been really important in bringing in readers.
Any suggestions?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you still running into trouble with this? When I looked at your blog in the Reader, I was seeing your posts just fine:
For some tags like “art” and “politics” there are so many posts that yours may appear and be knocked far down in the list as even newer posts are added with those tags.
Also note that if there is a video in your post the Reader will display that before an image.

Thanks for the response.
The first few posts I made this year didn’t appear on any tag pages as far as I could see. There’s no sign of this post, for instance: http://imageobjecttext.com/2014/01/04/straight-talking/ including in pages for less widely used tags: http://en.wordpress.com/tag/ai-weiwei/
But it does seem to be back to normal now, with new posts hitting up in the tag pages so whatever the problem was it’s righted itself somehow.

Ah, okay. The reason why the post http://imageobjecttext.com/2014/01/04/straight-talking/ didn’t show up in the Topics listings is because you used more than 15 tags + categories. In the future, if you limit your number of tags, your posts should appear as expected.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks! I’d known about the magic number but thought it was just tags rather than tags + categories. Generally tag with the titles of the works I’m writing about, artist names and media in use; will need to be more circumspect sometimes.
Thanks for clearing it up.
