blog not working

My typical URL will not come up. It gives me a “internet explorer cannot display the webpage. It is only for my domain. I can still look at Dashboard, etc. In my Dashboard it is now listing many posts and categorizing them as “updated” when I haven’t done anything to them.

How do I get my website back.

    This blog?

Always best to be really specific when talking about tech issues.
It works just fine for me on Firefox. Have you tried looking at it with another browser? It could also be that you’re behind some kind of firewall or other protection. If you’re talking about a MAPPED domain, please give us that URL. Several people have reported that their security settings have recently prevented them from viewing their own mapped domains.

I can see my webpage using other browsers. But within my wordpress account, if I click on “view site” it says I cannot get there. It just happened this morning, kind of weird. In my dashboard as it tells me my activity under “today” there updates to previous posts that I had nothing to do with today. And I am able to move around to all other pages within wordpress, except my actual site.

I checked security settings and could not discern anything that would prevent me from going to the URL: http://www.sambarrington.com

Okay, that’s different. Please always specify the exact URL you are talking about right up front. Like I said, mapped domains are kicking up a problem in IE lately; have you updated your IE lately? It could well be something Microsoft did that isn’t obvious.

Updating IE makes it worse, in my experience…

The thing about posts updating themselves: sounds like bug to me?

WP.com is doing something: today I’m getting all kinds of trackbacks showing up that never did before.

They sure are doing something, I think. I have just had a run of 404 errors when trying to access my blogs, this forum, and many things on my admin page.
