Blog not working for nearly a week.

My blog is getting a server not found message when we try to load the page, as well as the dashboard connected to it within wordpress. I’ve tried changing browsers and that does not help. I’ve also tried clearing cache and cookies. This has been going on nearly a week.

Have you tried disabling all browser add-ons and extensions and then logging in using the secure https:// login? http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

I tried to access your blog as well as the admin panel and I could. Obviously I got an error when I tried to access the dashboard because I was logged on using my own account (thus have no access) but no issues with not being able to access.
There are a few issues which could cause this… First it could be a DNS problem; your computer not finding the right addresses your blog is on.
I assume you’re on Windows; try opening a dosbox and then use this command:
nslookup wannabeinkling.wordpress.com
It should give return something like:

Naam: lb.wordpress.com
Addresses: 74.200.244.59
72.233.69.6
74.200.243.251
72.233.2.58
76.74.254.123
76.74.254.120
Aliases: wannabeinkling.wordpress.comSo several addresses which serve your blog. And that brings me to option number 2: it is of course also possible that one of those servers had a problem. Which makes trouble shooting harder because if 2 people access your blog it doesn’t mean they’ll be on the same server.
What you could do is try this command (from the same dosbox):
ipconfig /flushdns
This will flush the so called DNS cache on your server. iow; makes sure that the server will lookup the right ip addresses next time you use them. That could make a difference.
