blog on my website

How do I delete a post in the blog on my website, foodserviceast.com? It’s in my Nibbles – news posts I do regularly – the top one is old and I don’t understand why it is still the first thing people see when they click on the blog link on the site. How do I get it down?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

How do I get it down?
Hi there,
The top post has been seen to be “sticky” which means that it will stick to the top of the blog page.
Please open that post, then deselect “Stick to the front page” in Post Settings > Status
https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-visibility/#sticky-posts
I hope this helps :)

It doesn’t help – I opened the post but can’t find Post Settings – Status anywhere – Please help!

Finally got it deleted rather than struggle to un-sticky it. How do I avoid this in the future??

Don’t use the “stick post to front page” option.

I didn’t know I used it – it was an accident – how do I avoid this happening again? Where does it give that option because I never saw it.

The option can be seen in the documentation I linked to. It’s highlighted in red in the screenshots.
