blog owner left company; email no longer in existence

The owner of our blog has the the company and her email address is no longer in existence. How do we change the primary email for the blog? The blog is pdsgarden.wordpress.com and I would like to become the owner of this blog. I maintain several other blogs for our school, so it make sense the owner would be me: (email visible only to moderators and staff). How do I do this? I am even trying to add new admins and it is not working.

The blog owner needs to log in and transfer the blog to another account
Only the owner can do that. WordPress.COM will not transfer a blog to you just because you ask for the blog
