  Within our post page where we post our blogs, there is an icon that popped up on the left of our pictures that go along with our blog post. Its a faint grey icon, you cannot click on it. Not sure how it appeared, need it removed.

  You just need to add CSS code to your site that will help you removing the icon that is appearing on the screen:

  i.fusion-icon-pen {
      display: none !important;
  }

  Also, Your site is using WordPress.org software which is hosted on another host. So WordPress.com forum is not the right place to get the solution for your question.
