blog page absent from page list

I want to be able to delete the blog tab in the navigation but since it is absent in the page list I cannot access it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m having the same problem. I have three tabs: Blog, About, and Resources, but when I go to the pages list, “Blog” isn’t listed, and it isn’t listed under the options available under Settings->Reading. I want “About” to be the static front page and use “Blog” for posts, but I can’t make that setting because “Blog” doesn’t appear as an option. My blog is:

You do not need to. “Blog” is where the posts will go automatically, if they are not Pages.

A search for “static page” in the support section brought this: http://support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

Right. But is there no way to edit “Blog”? Also, on the video that explains static pages (which I had looked at), it suggests that you should select where you want the posts to go if you are using a static front page. Do I just ignore that?

Oh, and I should also mention, that if I set the “About” as the static page, then the tab for “Blog” doesn’t work. (I just tried that.)

You cannot edit “Blog”: it’s not a page such as those you create but a built-in navigation tab to take you back to the blog front. The default front is the latest posts. Once you set a static page as your front, the Blog tab will take you to that static page. And once you set a static page, you also need to create another (blank) page, name it “Posts” or whatever, and set it as your posts page (in Settings>Reading).
