blog page added to site

    I have a wordpress blog page at thoughtmotivator.wordpress.com that I use theiphone app to update all the time. A wonderful blog page with serial separate entries.
    I also have a hosted site dawmix.com that I want to add a blog page (like thoughtmotivator to but I cannot find a way to add the blog page, rather it is a page added that the app cannot update and that is just an open text box I would add text to. Currently in the app when I choose ‘blog’ for the dawmix site I can create an entry but I cannot find it on the site. I can post to a page in the app, but that is not what I want. I want a blog… I want the same template I have for thoughtmotivator applied to my blog post and be able to add blogs via the app to this page as blogs. How can I do this? My ThoughtMotivator template is fourteenpress. Thank you

    Hi actualccb,

    I also have a hosted site dawmix.com

    You have two sites:

    1. thoughtmotivator.wordpress.com: hosted on WordPress.com
    2. dawmix.com: created using WordPress.org software and hosted by 1&1 rather than WordPress.com

    You should be able to create a blog page from the left hand menu on dawmix.com or from Site Pages in the app. If you need help making changes to this site, please post to the WordPress.org support forums for advice — as we can only help with WordPress.com sites here.

    thoughtmotivator.wordpress.com is using the Twenty Fourteen theme and the good news is, there is a version which is compatible with self hosted sites like dawmix.com:
