blog page does it automatically appear under a home page

  under customise, i’ve set a static home page and a post page,
  i’ve done some posts.

  should the post page automatically appear under the home page when previewing the home page?

  Hi there,

  Which site is this for? I see you have a few on your account. By default the homepage does not usually show blog posts (the blog is set on another page when you set a static homepage typically) but it can depend on the theme and/or blocks you are using on your site.

  its the one called cockenzieandportseton

  on the customise section i’ve set a home page with latest news as the posts page

  as you mention, it could be the theme/style of the page that I’ve created

  Hi there,

  It looks like the theme for your site, Hever, wasn’t designed to display a homepage with blog posts on it.

  However, if you’d like to display a few blog posts on your homepage, and have the rest on your Blog Post page, you could insert a block on your current homepage which would display a few.

  Personally I’d try the Blog Posts Block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/blog-posts-block/

  or, try the Blog Post Carousel Block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/posts-carousel-block/
