Blog page in blog format "website"

  I created a “website” on wordpress.com. The first four page one column containing static info.
  I added page 5 with intent of blogging from that page, and added the customary right panel with categories, subscribe, etc. Page 5 then went public.
  1. Pages 1-4 now also contain the right panel from the “blog” page 5
  2. Is there a way to fix this?
