Blog Page keeps redirecting to Home Page

  Hi All! I’m trying to get my blog page to show up but when I click on the link in my menu, it goes to the home page and not my posts. I have two posts so I’m not sure why it’s not.

  I’ve also gone into READING and have the following:

  Homepage: HOME
  Posts Page: NEWS

  Have you verified that the link setup in your menu matches the page that displays your posts?
  >>appearance/menus

  To confirm, you created a page called NEWS that displays your blog?

  Would you mind sharing your website URL?

  Yes! http://uflgbtqalumni.com/news/

  I checked and it’s connected right. I think.

  Try going to All Pages.
  Find your NEWS page, click on the 3 dots on the far right and select “Set as Posts Page”

  What three dots? On ALL PAGES it says “News — Posts Page” for my News page so I know it’s set. Is there something else I should be doing?

  My apologies, I was advising you on how it would look if you were using the Default View, the newest screen option.
  It sounds like you’re using the classic editor, in that case, NEWS is set up correctly as the Posts Page. “News–Posts Page” is how it would appear on ALL PAGES.

  So I’m thinking the Menu isn’t set up properly.
  Try deleting your NEWS link on your menu, save changes, then add it again.

  I did that too! Also when I preview the NEWS page, it doesn’t show the blog posts either. Somehow even though it’s set as the POSTS page, it’s not capturing them.

  That’s very odd. When I click on your NEWS link on the menu, it takes me to the homepage.
  But when I click on the NEWS link on your homepage, I get the following error:

  NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

  It may be an SSL issue.

  On the WordPress side, it sounds like you did everything correctly but you may need to contact the company that hosts your site (GoDaddy/DomainControl).
