It seems you have deleted that page. Create a new one in Pages > Add New, don’t turn into a child page, set it as your posts page in Settings > Reading, and update your custom menu accordingly.

What is a child page….do they have dashes in front of them? If so how do I not make it a not a child page? I have done the create a new page and set it in my reading section as a post page but still get same results. Thanks again….sorry I am a novice.

Example of hierarchical page structuring:
Parent
– Child
– – GrandchildHope this helps.

Ok thanks, now it is not a child page but still the same results. I have deleted page and made a new blog page. It is the main page and I have went into reading and made it my blog page but still not found??? What am I doing wrong?

No, now I can see two posts when I click “Blog”. Refresh your browser page or clear its cache.

Thanks, I feel like I am getting there but still getting page not found with the refresh and the clear cache. Thanks for being patient….

Heelo there,
I click “Blog” and I see two posts. They are Breakfast!!! ans Hi. The fact you cannot see them points to a browser issue.Which browser and version of it are you using please?
Also please follow these browser specific instructions again and see if that works.
- changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies – instructions for specific browsers.
- Note that when you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.
- You could try upgrading your browser.
- You could try using another browser.
If those troubleshooting techniques do not work for you there are others we can try. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/10/18/blogging-and-troubleshooting/

Thanks guys…All is working except for my feature picture??? When I go to my pages and click edit blog it is on there but not on my site. It is the template header instead. I have checked different browsers and cleared my cache. This has to be something simple I am overlooking. I am using internet explorer 8

Yes, it’ll be the default header image. Featured images replace the default header image when you view a single post or a static page. But when you set a static page as your posts page, you no longer see that static page: you just borrow its title, so to speak, to create a link to your latest posts (that is, what your homepage would normally display if you hadn’t set a static front).
