Blog page of my site and blog posts don’t work properly anymore
-
All your posts load correctly on my end. Please check that on your PC when you have the time so that we can narrow down the issue.

@cosmicpurpleloveslowtemple,
Hi,but if I select the load older posts button the site won’t load older posts
The “Older posts” link doesn’t work for me on your blog page either. I’m using the latest FF browser, Windows 7, desktop PC.
Findings:
- The blog page, reached via the “Patter” sub-menu link in the menu, displays 10 posts on its first page, although two of them are evidently untitled and therefore lack links to the full posts. I wonder if that might be a factor in producing the “Older posts” link failure.
- The October 2022 posts archive page displays the same 10 posts as the first page of the blog page. The “Older posts” link fails to work there too.
- However, on the September 2022 posts archive page, the “Older posts” link works. It loads 10 additional posts each time until there are fewer than 10 remaining.
- The July 2022 posts archive page “Older posts” link also works, loading additional posts as expected.

Hello the load older posts button works on and off, i checked it again and now doesn’t work anymore!
There seems to be a problem that also musicdoc1 sees!
I changed nothing at the posts after the button worked again just my other pages i think! -
Hi @cosmicpurpleloveslowtemple and @musicdoc1, what version of Firefox are you using, and on what operating system?
The “Older Posts” link works on my end, but once I know more about your Firefox installation, I’ll be able to run some additional tests.

Hi there,
btw. i edited a few words on my nonreductionist philosophised science page and my mad philosophy page and now i can’t edit the science page and they don’t show up when i look at my homepage!
Can you tell us more about what you edit on both of those pages? I can confirm that neither are loading correctly for me, but before we investigate it will help to know what changes you made.
Did you happy to copy and paste in any code, or content from another source such as a Word Doc or email?
Thanks for clarifying.

Maybe the trash folder for posts has a problem because i deleted again some posts and the last time i did that it some problems!
-
Yes it has something to do with deleting old posts, after some difficulties deleting them out of the trash can the pages work properly again but the load older posts button won’T work!
-
I wonder if you’re seeing these issues because of the unique way you’re using WordPress.
– Instead of trashing posts, would you mind just making them private?
– Please be sure each post has a title
– If you run into the problem, update us here, but please wait to add new posts or remove old ones, just so we can all be sure we’re seeing the same thing.
Sometimes we just need to be able to duplicate the issue so we can solve it.

The “Load older Posts” Button works again, but I have a new problem when I search for the term “As natural as possible” on the blog posts page as well as on my homepage widget search function a blank page appears even if i reload the page a few times!
-
I got a few questions to help us figure out what’s happening.
– Does this happen in both the frontend and backend of your site?
– Does it happen with any search term or that specific one?
– I the search results page entirely blank, or do you see an error message?
-
-Yes it happens as well on the search function on my homepage (frontend) as well as on the search function in the blog posts editor site (backend)
-It happens only with this specific search term up until now
-The browser returns an entirely blank page without any error message
-
Hmm, I seem not to be able to replicate this issue. If I search a term on your homepage (I used “mediation” in my search) it works as expected.
You can click this link to see a video of what I see.
To clarify, if you search for the same word, do you see search results same as I see in my video? Or is this only an issue with multi-word search terms such as “As natural as possible” as you mentioned in your previous post?
Also worth noting that the built in search function is WordPress is fairly basic (it does not highlight keywords in search results for example) but you can improve this by upgrading to our Jetpack Search function: More info here: https://wordpress.com/support/jetpack-search/

The problem arises not when i use a single word term or a multiple word term but the exact term as I mentioned namely this term:
As natural as possible
