Blog Page View – Spirit, Soul, & Body (spiritsoulbody2017)

    I used a different theme from my first blog, but I am having a problem actually being able to connect the two pages. I have a Home/About page which opens but I cannot see the actual blog. Since I posted, I tried to copy the info to a new page, but it still hasn’t worked. It has become a source of frustration. It’s a constant back and forth from the customize feature to the page.

    Also, I wanted to add the Blog link to the Home page, but it takes me to a template. Please help.

    I like WordPress compared to some of the other sites I’ve used, but I do find that it is not user friendly.

    Are you wanting to create a link from https://spiritsoulbody2017.wordpress.com to https://aileen928.wordpress.com? If so, let me know and I can help with that.

    You’ll want to create a new page called Blog. Once you do that, you can visit My Site > Customize > Static Front Page.

    From there, you can set your front page to display your latest posts, or you can choose a static page for the home page, and set the Blog page to show your posts:

    You’ll be able to add a link to the Blog page from My Site > Menus > Primary Menu after you’ve created the Blog page. Once you’re in the Primary Menu area, click the Add Items button and select Blog from Pages on the right.

    Thank you for your help. After much trial and error, I think it’s good to go.

    In regard to linking spiritsoulbody2017 to aileen928, would you recommend that, and why?

    Sure, so I recommend it if you think both sites may appeal to the same audience, and if you’re fine with them knowing that you run the two sites.
